Jetting

Hydro-jetting is one of the preferred methods for removing clogs in your drains, as it’s faster than other methods, and can be just as effective.

There are a number of different ways to clean out blockages and clogs in sewer pipes. Some are simple and quick, others complicated and time-consuming. One of the best options around, though, is jetting. Also called “hydro-jetting” this service is great for not only removing clogs, but for helping to prevent them from forming in the future.

What is Jetting?

Jetting is a method of drain and sewer cleaning that involves using a high–pressure stream of water to clean out any clogs or obstructions in the pipe.

Jetting Process

A small hose is inserted into the pipe, with a sprayer head at the end of it. This sprayer head actually has outlets in several directions, allowing it to blast the walls of the sewer pipe at all angles. This is the equivalent of inserting a small fire hose into the pipe. The stream is powerful enough to remove all sorts of debris, from biological waste to lime scale. Once the jetting is complete, the jet itself can simply be pulled back up out of the pipe.
