Municipal lateral pipe lining is a specialized trenchless technology that requires experience, as well as familiarity in working with varied projects and special equipment. Trenchless technology has created a cost effective alternative to sewer drain re-piping referred to as Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP). CIPP is where a pipe is created “within the existing pipe” with a liner and special epoxy resins creating the structural strength of new pipes without damage to structures, floors, sidewalks, streets or landscaping. This process has been in use now for over 25 years. The greatest advantage to this method, is Insta-Pipe does NOT have to line the entire length of the pipe, only the damaged pipe, which means significant savings and flexibility.
Many North West municipalities are discovering that existing sewage and storm drain pipes are starting to fail. This failure is due to cracked pipe, root infiltration, separated, cracked joints or corrosion. These failing underground municipal sewer lines and storm drains are only getting worse. SECTIONAL POINT REPAIR
It is no longer necessary to reline a pipe from manhole-to-manhole in order to address one section of pipe. Now we can simply reline the area in need of repair. The Point Repair System consists of a fiberglass reinforced Liner and Ambient Cured Resins.

Cleaning & Televising
Insta-Pipe's utilizes a unique pipe line televising systems. These systems pan and rotate 360 degrees as well as zoom to help decipher defects in the pipe line. One of our specialized systems allows us to send a camera from inside the main line up a lateral connection to inspect the lateral without disturbing commercial building visitors. We also have smaller cameras for televising lines which range in size for 2” to 6”. These cameras can be inserted through a cleanout or other point of access and are able to overcome turns or bends in the pipe. Along with all of our camera units we are able to trace from above ground where this pipe line travels.
Panoramic Technology
Using front and rear mounted high-resolution digital cameras with 186 degree“fish-eye” wide-angle lenses, the Panoramo 3D optiscanner captures a 360 degree full view of the pipe surface. The cameras are synchronized and take pictures every 2 in that can be viewed as single images or live continuous feed. This allows the data to be analyzed independently of the actual sewer inspection in a controlled office environment.
Laser Data
Using state of the art Redzone Robotic Laser inspection technology, IPI can inventory large diameter and difficult to access pipelines. RedZone’s 3D spinning laser uses more advanced technology than a profiling laser, therefore results are more accurate and can be used to generate precise models of pipe surfaces and also can be measured with great accuracy.
